Manifest v2.6 | Last Revised: March 2026

Section 4.2: The 48-Hour Burn-In Clause

To ensure hardware integrity, all funds for items exceeding **£180** are held in the TechFlipper Vault for a mandatory **48-hour "Burn-In" period** following confirmed delivery.

  • Buyer must stress-test hardware within this window.
  • Escrow release is automatic after 48h unless a "Node Failure" (Dispute) is logged.
  • Covers hidden defects: GPU artifacts, SSD health failure, and battery cell death.

01. Seller Obligations

Sellers must provide accurate **AI-Verified manifests**. Intentional bypass of hardware reports or providing falsified serial numbers results in an immediate **Permanent Node Ban** and forfeiture of the current Vault balance.

02. Buyer Conduct

Buyers are protected against "Lemons." However, "Buyer's Remorse" is not a valid reason for a Vault reversal. Disputes are only authorized for hardware that deviates from the **Manifested Specs**.

03. Logistics & Shipping

All shipments must utilize **TechFlipper-integrated Easyship labels** to ensure tracking transparency.

// SYSTEM_PROTOCOL:
IF (Status == 'Delivered') {
   Start_Timer(48_HOURS);
   IF (No_Dispute) Release_Vault_Funds();
}

04. Fees & Commission

TechFlipper charges a flat **2.5% Platform Node Fee** on all successful transactions. This covers AI verification credits, secure hosting, and escrow management. Courier fees are calculated live via the Easyship API.
