Payment into the Vault
When you click "Buy Now", your payment (including shipping and protection fees) is sent to our secure **GBP Escrow Vault**. The seller sees that the item is paid for, but they **cannot** access the money yet.
Tracked Shipping
Sellers must provide a valid tracking number. This ensures you know exactly when your hardware will arrive at your doorstep in the UK.
The 48-Hour Inspection Window
Once the courier confirms delivery, the **48-hour clock starts**. This is your time to run benchmarks, check battery health, and verify the CPU/GPU specs match the listing.
Release or Dispute
If the gear is perfect, you can click **"Confirm & Release"** to pay the seller immediately. If there is an issue, click **"Open Dispute"** within 48 hours to freeze the funds while an admin reviews your case.

Buyer Commits
Funds are sent via EFT and **locked** in the secure TechFlipper Escrow Node. The seller is notified to ship.
Hardware Audit
The buyer receives and inspects the hardware against the logged specs. Funds remain **un-released** during this stage.
EFT Finalized
Upon confirmation, the system releases **97.5%** to the seller's wallet and retains the **3.5%** protection fee.
